It is an Academic Digital Library (Platform) designed for educational institutions, libraries, and research centers.

Through an institutional subscription, authorized users simultaneously access the full texts of more than 220,000 academic publications from 800+ publishers, in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.

The platform is accessible from any device — via web or through the eLibro Reader App — both online and offline, with automatic synchronization between devices. Titles are downloaded on a loan basis.

Colombian librarian, engineer and digital innovator with over two decades leading digital transformation processes in libraries and cultural institutions across Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe. Founder of MedeJean: Cultural Intelligence and co-founder of IAparaBibliotecas.com, where he has designed over 70 AI service prototypes —from advanced user analytics to citizen labs— and has supported public, academic and community library networks on four continents.

His work integrates critical AI literacy, design thinking and knowledge management, with the goal of enabling Global South libraries to use technology in an ethical, explainable and inclusive way. He has collaborated with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Beyond Access program), CERLALC-UNESCO, IFLA and multiple national library networks.

International speaker and author of publications on digital culture, cultural marketing for libraries and artificial intelligence applied to the cultural sector. He is a columnist for specialized media such as Razón Pública and Impacto TIC, and has been invited as a speaker at forums of UNAM, UNLP and the University of Salamanca, among others. He currently leads the iIA Unit at e-Libro CORP., where he coordinates the facilitator team and acts as principal consultant on AI implementation projects for libraries throughout the region.

Cristian Maturana Maturana

Chilean documentalist librarian, Coordinator of Innovation and Technology at the Biblioteca de Santiago —one of the most relevant public libraries in Ibero-America— and co-founder of IAparaBibliotecas.com. He has a solid track record in the technological management of information units, where he has advised various public and private institutions in the creation of digital products, services and experiences.

He is a specialist in innovation, service design, quality management, digital transformation and artificial intelligence. In academia, he lectures at the Centro de Formación Técnica ENAC. Previously, he was a faculty member at Universidad Alberto Hurtado and the Department of Information Management at the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana (UTEM).

He was a fellow of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the United States government (2010) and a selected member of the INELI Iberoamérica program (2015–2017). He has led the organization of the international congress InnovaTics and is co-author of the book "Horizontes: reflexión y acción desde la Biblioteca de Santiago para las bibliotecas que soñamos".

Fernando Gabriel Gutiérrez

Director of the Instituto Municipal Superior de Educación y Tecnología "Emilio Fermín Mignone" of Luján (Buenos Aires) and Head of the Digitalization Division at the Central Library of the Universidad Nacional de Luján (UNLu).

He holds an interdisciplinary academic background: Master in Social Networks and Digital Learning (UNED, Spain), Specialist in Education and New Technologies (FLACSO), Librarian (Instituto Mignone) and Bachelor in Communication Sciences (Universidad de Buenos Aires).

Luis Enrique Lescano Borrego

Librarian and Information Sciences specialist, trained at the Universidad de La Habana (Cuba), with a Master's in Archival Science and Document Management Systems from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (Ecuador). With over eight years of experience in academic libraries, he currently serves as Library Specialist at the Universidad de Cuenca, where he leads the digital transformation of the Centro de Documentación Regional "Juan Bautista Vázquez".

He has led the creation of the Universidad de Cuenca's digital library integrating Omeka S and DSpace. Invited speaker at TEDx Parque La Carolina and international speaker on artificial intelligence applied to libraries.

Founder of Bibliobytes.org, an educational platform through which he has trained more than 1,000 library professionals. He has collaborated with CEDIA, Bibliolatino and the Asociación Nacional de Bibliotecarios Eugenio Espejo (ANABE) of Ecuador.

Beatriz Eugenia Campillo Vélez

Political scientist and Master in Philosophy, with honors, from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB) in Medellín. Doctoral candidate in Philosophy. Graduate of the first cohort of the Egyptology program at UPB (2025). Holds diplomas in Neuroscience, Emotions and Technology; Risk Management in Humanitarian Assistance; and National Security and Defense, among others.
